Crafted from a blend of rums from Barbados, this XO was carefully aged and selected by Alexandre Gabriel, the iconic cellar master, to mark his 20 years at the helm of Maison Ferrand. After ageing in the tropics, it is finished in small Cognac casks at Château de Bonbonnet in the Charente region, following the house’s signature “double ageing” method.
On the palate, this rum delivers a burst of spicy, woody and indulgent notes, with remarkable aromatic richness.
Nose: Candied fruit, vanilla, toasted oak
Palate: Rich and round, with notes of cinnamon, coconut and cocoa
Finish: Long and complex, with a pleasant sweetness
