Practically speaking, you add a dose to orange juice + wine, stir, serve chilled, and you have a clean, consistent, and reproducible sangria. And if you want a “comfort drink” mode, the same syrup works in mulled wine without a hitch.
Contents
The recipe is structured like a cocktail base: sugar, water, acidity adjusted with citric acid, then an aromatic blend of lemon, cherry, orange/citrus, vanilla, and cinnamon, with E163 coloring. MONIN also notes a total fruit juice content of 10%.
Regarding nutritional values (per 100 ml), it is a classic syrup: 1369 kJ / 328 kcal, 79.9 g of carbohydrates including 79.8 g of sugars, and 0.03 g of salt.
For dosage, MONIN provides a simple and effective tip: 1 part product to 8 parts (water, cocktail, or other application). It’s a solid working base for calibrating your drinks without getting caught out by the sugar.
Dimensions
