Made from a selection of food-grade wood, this beech sawdust produces a fine, consistent smoke for use with professional smokers, smoking domes, or Aladin-style smoking guns. Its low resin content makes it a versatile base for precise smoking, without harsh flavors or excessive bitterness.
Aladin Chips Haya are designed for chefs, bartenders, and mixologists who want to add an elegant smoky touch to their preparations. Beech is a wood prized for its balance: it develops a soft, light, and relatively neutral smoke, allowing it to be used on many foods without masking their original taste.
This special sawdust is particularly interesting for cold smoking, a technique that flavors a product without cooking it. It is very well-suited for fish, fresh cheeses, vegetables, delicate meats, and cocktails, where it creates a spectacular visual effect while adding an extra aromatic dimension.
Its aroma evokes a delicate, woody, and forest-like scent, more subtle than some stronger woods like oak. It is an excellent choice for establishments looking for clean, consistent smoke that is easy to control during service.
Aladin Chips Haya can also be combined with other aromatic elements such as citrus zest, spices, herbs, or a few drops of food-grade essential oils. This allows you to customize the aromatic profile according to the dish, cocktail, or tasting experience you are looking for.
