The Biloxi Urban Bar julep cocktail strainer is an elegant, professional bar accessory, ideal for straining cocktails prepared in a mixing glass. Its scalloped design inspired by vintage julep strainers gives it a refined style, while its polished 18/8 stainless steel construction ensures excellent corrosion resistance. Urban Bar lists a height of 22 cm, a width of 8 cm, a weight of 114 g and dishwasher compatibility.
The Biloxi Urban Bar julep strainer is designed for bartenders looking for a tool that is both effective, sturdy and visually distinct from classic strainers. Inspired by old shell-shaped julep strainers, it stands out with its scalloped edge and polished stainless steel finish, adding a real premium touch behind the bar.
Used mainly with a mixing glass, this strainer holds back ice cubes, zests, herbs or other solid elements when serving a stirred cocktail. It is particularly well suited to classic cocktails such as the Martini, the Manhattan, the Negroni, the Old Fashioned, the Vieux Carré or any other cocktail prepared using the “stir” method.
Its 18/8 stainless steel construction offers good resistance to rust and corrosion, making it a reliable tool for regular use in bars, restaurants, hotels or at home. Its slightly curved shape allows for a good grip and natural positioning on the rim of the mixing glass.
With its crafted design, the Biloxi strainer is not just a functional tool: it’s also a presentation accessory. It’s perfectly suited to cocktail bars, discerning enthusiasts and professionals looking to complete their kit with an elegant, durable and enjoyable-to-use julep strainer.
